There are four main words used to explain how a particular coffee tastes.
They are – acidity, aroma, body and flavor.
ACIDITY is the sharp snappy taste that wakes your coffee up. It has nothing to do with bitter unpleasant sensations or your coffee’s pH.
AROMA is fragrance, your nose is the first judge of the flavors released from the bean and will tell you a great deal about our coffee’s freshness and personality.
BODY is the heaviness and thickness of the coffee as it touches your tongue. Remember how a heavy red wine slides down your throat and a white glides down. In the same way a rich Sumatran and mild Mexican coffee give you different weight sensations.
FLAVOR is like defining love - it’s all in the relationship. Flavor is really a combination of acidity, aroma and body. In some cases one quality can stand out, for instance, the singular tang of Costa Rican and in others, like full-flavored Sumatran, a broader range of qualities is celebrated.

TANZANIAN – PEABERRY
This coffee grows on the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Mochi. Tanzanian coffees are rich and mellow with delicate acidity. Peaberry or Male berry meaning that there is only one bean per cherry. These are small, round and hard beans. Rich and smooth in the cup.

This coffee has it all – great depth, acidity, body and aroma with fruit, nut and chocolate tones. Great as a drip and can be used as an espresso that will create tons of crema’ to please even the finest of palletes.

NORTHERN ITALIA ESPRESSO
Typical of the espresso found in most of Northern Italy. Ours is a special blend of four coffees specifically designed to complement each other and designed to create a smooth chocolaty sensation similar to Swiss baking chocolate. Roasted very slowly under very low temperature allowing the coffee to develop its rich, smooth flavor.
